We have had a brilliant time this week during our special week 'Healthy body, healthy mind'. Here are just some photos to show some of the amazing things we have done this week.
Our new topic is Yabba Dabba Doo! We will be learning all about the Stone Age. On Tuesday we spent the day learning about how to make stone age bread, looking at artefacts from the Stone Age and investigating how to make Stone Henge using Bourbon biscuits!
In science we are learning about rocks. We spent this afternoon thinking about what we knew already and what we would like to know. We then looked at some different types of rocks and what we could notice about them.
In Science we have been learning about forces. Topday we made magentic gloop and tried to see if we could get the magnets to pull it !
In Geography we learnt how to use 4 figure grid references to find things on maps. We also learnt what might happen if we gave the wrong reference!
In Science we have been learning the names of our bones. We had to put the skeleton together in the right order. It was more tricky than it looked!
We have been looking at how we can partition a number to help us with our understanding of Place Value. We used concrete resources to help us.
We have been learning about Place Value this week. We have been using concrete resources to represent number in a variety of ways.
