Year 4 General Information.
Homework
Spellings are set on a Monday for a test the following Monday.
Maths homework is set on a Monday and due back the following Monday. This term we will be aiming for children to complete 3 Soundcheck tasks, and 5 minutes on Garage on Times Table Rockstars each week. Teachers will monitor this online.
Please refer to the enrichment grid for optional topic homework.
We really appreciate the support you can give your child to help them with their homework, spellings and to hear them read 5 times a week. Please log any reading on Boom Reader, and also complete quizzes on Accelerated Reader. Again, teachers will be monitoring this online.
PE
This half term, our PE day will be Monday and our swimming days will be Monday and Thursday. Please ensure your child wears PE kit to school and brings in their swimming kit on Mondays and Thursdays.
General
Please ensure your child has a water bottle in school and a hat or sun cream as the weather begins to change.
